GOP 51 – 42

The New York Times called a majority for the GOP, who flipped two key seats from West Virginia and Ohio to overcome the Democrat majority 51-50 over the past 2 years. In a potential Trump presidency, a senate majority could open up opportunities for major legislation to be passed over a multitude of topics.
